Sony’s three mid-range smartphones are launched in more countries. Two of them belong to the NXT lineup while the third is known for its unique “floating display.” As you guessed, I am talking about the Sony Xperia U, P and Sola, respectively.
All these handsets run Android 2.3 Gingerbread but they are queued to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the next weeks. Besides software, these devices are based on the same Cortex A9 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz. The rest of features are identical too. Nevertheless, there are also features that make them differ from each other. For example, the Xperia P sports a 4-inch touchscreen, while the Xperia U comes with a 3.5-inch display, and the Xperia Sola features a 3.7-inch one. The Xperia P is also packed with 1GB of RAM, unlike the other two that feature only 512MB of RAM.

These smartphones are currently available in many markets, therefore the prices vary from market to market. Their costs will vary between 209 EUR ($254) and 392 EUR ($476). The prices are not high and cannot be described as expensive, especially if we consider their outstanding design and the respectable branding they carry.
