The Sony MT27i Pepper is already leaked in Sony’s portfolio for 2012. This name is just a codename and most of the experts expect it to be a successor for the Sony Xperia neo V. At least we are pretty sure about the similarities of two devices in terms of the design and some of the specs.
The specs of the handset are not announced, while the main leaks are a 3.7-inch display with not that large resolution, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording capability. The lacking feature of the handset will be the support for the microSD cards, though the device will come with 16 GB of internal memory, which is still ok.

The device has been spotted with a NenaMark benchmark test results. During the test the device was running ‘ARM-Mali-400 MP’ with its U5500, U8500 and U9500 chipsets. The rest of the specs leaked during the same test are a screen resolution of 480×845 pixels, Android 2.3.7 OS. Still not that much.
We expect to get more info about the device and to see its appearance during the World Mobile Congress in February in Barcelona.
