Sony 2012 Portfolio Leaked

Sony’s 2012 portfolio seems to be quite appealing. The list includes 11 different devices of various price ranges. Some of them are already the leaked handsets, while others are yet unknown.

April will be the release month for the Sony LT22i Nypon with its unique WhiteMagic display and the Sony MT27i Pepper with a 3.7-inch Reality Display. Both handsets will be based on ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor dual-core chipsets. The idea of using this chipset version is most likely based upon the idea of its support for the TD-CDMA networks. As such we have the world’s biggest carrier China Mobile.

April will also be the month for the launch of the Sony-ST25i Kumquat, which is rumored to be the Xperia Mini. The device will be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch display and the same NovaThor chipset.

The summer will be the right time for entry level devices, including the Sony Xperia ST21i Tapioca and the Tapioca DS. The handsets will come with an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 3.2-inch display. These features are pretty impressive considering the prices required for them –  $188 and $208, respectively.

The rest of the list is filled with unknown handsets. Among them are the Sony Olive, Sony Hayabusa, Sony Lotus, Sony Atlas, Sony AFFM and Sony Mint.
